At The Dentist

[Dedicated to my dentist]

Without a person to get comforted by,
Without a patient with a good welcoming smile,
The dentist tries to finish his day before its start,
And the clients are sitting in the Salon waiting for their turn.

Like a mournful ceremony, the dentist sees the patient's mouth.
He doesn't need your name, only at the end-
When you turn your wallet upside-down.

Mouths in pain are waiting in the Salon,
And the dentist, as a missionary, cures them all.
The day comes to its end, the mouths leave their seats,
And finally the dentist returns to Be.
